Agamemnon Housing, a housing provider committed to supporting the veteran community with stable housing and genuine respect, has introduced COSIE Homes to improve damp and mould risk management and strengthen resident safety with clearer, faster evidence.

The pilot was prompted by a damp and mould survey review that identified insulation as a contributor to damp patches on internal walls. Agamemnon Housing first ensured homes were being heated and ventilated appropriately, then selected COSIE Homes as the best value-for-money option to deliver the insight required.

Using COSIE Homes, teams can now monitor temperature, ventilation, heating (high and low) and humidity, with data collected within a four-hour window to support faster triage and earlier interventions.

Agamemnon Housing says the solution is efficient and user-friendly, and supports the evidence needs emerging from greater scrutiny of damp and mould responses, including regulations linked to Awaab's Law.

Carl Dixon, CEO at Agamemnon commented: “Accurate data collection enables us to identify concerns and promptly initiate a survey. This allows us to collaborate with tenants by providing guidance and encouraging healthy living.”

Emma Mahy, Founder and CEO at IoTSG commented: “Social landlords are experiencing compliance saturation, and for smaller landlords that really impacts their resources, as this often means more of an administrative burden. However, COSIE risk platform is built to provide continuous, trusted evidence, starting with damp and mould and extending across wider housing risks, such as Legionella water monitoring. It removes much of the administration and provides accurate and actionable insights.”
