IoT Solutions Group (IoTSG) today welcomed news that it has been named one of the winners in the second annual Big Retrofit Challenge, announced on 23 February 2026 by the National Home Decarbonisation Group (NHDG) in partnership with Futurebuild and Innovate UK.

The Big Retrofit Challenge is designed to accelerate retrofit innovation and help smaller UK innovators overcome barriers to market by connecting them with the sector and platforming practical solutions that make homes warmer, drier and healthier.

IoTSG’s shortlisted-winning innovation, COSIE Homes Pro®, is an evidence-led building performance and in-home risk intelligence platform that helps social landlords understand how homes perform before and after retrofit, using real-world environmental and thermal data to prioritise interventions, validate outcomes, and stay audit-ready without adding another system burden.

Emma Mahy, CEO of IoT Solutions Group, said: “Retrofit only delivers when it’s backed by real evidence. This recognition reinforces our commitment to helping social landlords use insight and data to prioritise investment, prove outcomes, and create warmer, healthier homes for residents.”

IoTSG will showcase its innovation at The National Retrofit Conference 2026 at ExCeL London (12–14 May) as part of Futurebuild and UK Construction Week London.
